Paul’s Epistles

Saul of Tarsus was chosen of God. Though a most learned man, a Hebrew of the Hebrews, he converts to Jesus Christ and becomes the apostle to the Gentiles: Saul of Tarsus becomes Paul of Christ. He understands the mystery of the kingdom; suffers much persecution; is corrected and judged for his disobedience. His years of devotion to the Father and to Christ Jesus (and his calling) cause him to write the gospel he was given: to live for the promise of the kingdom, to be changed from corruptible to incorruption. Paul the Apostle gives to the Church the ways and perfection of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Through his letters, he tells us that the way to the kingdom is through Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. As the Apostle called of God, Paul works tirelessly for a Church that is born of God, led of the Spirit, and faithful to Jesus: to be holy as God is holy.
