Judge

His Words on Judge

JUDGE is acting righteously – as God would act – to assess a situation and present the proper conclusion in Christ.

From
Matthew

7:1-2
Judge not, that ye be not Judged. For with what Judgment ye Judge, ye shall be Judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

From
Luke

6:37
Judge not, and ye shall not be Judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

11:42
But woe unto you, Pharisees! For ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over Judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

12:56-57
Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? Yea, and why even of yourselves Judge ye not what is right?

From
John

5:19-31
Then answered Jesus and said unto them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father Judgeth no man, but hath committed all Judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute Judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I Judge: and my Judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

7:23-24
If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? Judge not according to the appearance, but Judge righteous Judgment.

8:12-18
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
The Pharisees therefore said unto him,
Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
Jesus answered and said unto them,
Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Ye Judge after the flesh; I Judge no man. And yet if I Judge, my Judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

12:44-50
Jesus cried and said,
He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I Judge him not: for I came not to Judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that Judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall Judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Let me, Jesus, like you, judge righteous judgement. Amen.
