The Mystery: Alpha & Omega

The time of the end is now. It’s time to solve the mystery.

The Lord revealed this great mystery to Daniel, and then told him to seal up the book until the time of the end. The time for the unsealing of the book is now. He told John not to seal the sayings of this book. This is the great mystery that is spoken about throughout the scriptures, Christ in you the hope of glory. The mystery of the kingdom is given unto us. It is made known unto us by the scriptures through the Holy Ghost. This is the hidden mystery which God ordained unto the world for our glory: his true Church. He has made known unto us his mystery, that in this time he might gather all things in Christ that we would receive our full inheritance: not only the full redemption of body, soul, and spirit, but also to be as our Father – on this earth. We are to have that creative power as He possesses. We are to be in his image; sinless, just like him.

Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

Romans 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.

MYSTERY

As we read the scriptures, we become astounded at what God is saying. This great mystery is being revealed. Will the judge be impressed?

I Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Ephesians 1:9-11 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: that in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Ephesians 3:3-5 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

He is revealing this to us the same way as he did to Paul. I hope the jury can see this.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

The Mystery Revealed

This is the mystery, the revelation of Jesus Christ in his people. That’s where Christ lives. He lives in his saints. God gave Jesus the revelation to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass in them, the revealing of Jesus Christ in them.

Imagine what John thought when he heard a voice from behind him saying, “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;…” (Revelation 1:11)

He probably wondered who this being was. Who is this Alpha and Omega? He didn’t identify himself as Jesus whom John knew so well. John saw the same being that Daniel saw:

Daniel 10:1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

Daniel saw a true vision, understood it,
and knew it was for a time far in the future.

Daniel 10:2-6 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

This is the same being that John saw on the isle of Patmos. This being tells John that he is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. John and Daniel described each of their heavenly beings the same way – as having his loins covered in gold, his eyes as a flame of fire, his feet like fine brass, and his voice as a multitude or the sound of many waters. We know that they both saw the same being.

Revelation 1:12-16 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

The Mystery
The Sinless are the Alpha & Omega

This heavenly being tells Daniel the purpose of this supernatural visitation:

Daniel 10:12-14 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Now this is the purpose for the visitation: the being is going to show Daniel what will happen to God’s people in the latter days:

Daniel 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? And now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

Daniel knew why this being was sent to him. God said he was going to show Daniel what would happen to his people in the latter days.

Daniel 10:21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

The Mystery Revealed

And that’s it. He didn’t say any more or show any more. He was done.
He showed him this holy being.

THIS IS THE VISION, AND THE MYSTERY. That IS what will happen to God’s people in the latter days. It is true. It would NOT happen for a long time in Daniel’s days. But the time is now. That which he had seen was the one called Alpha and Omega described in Revelation, the many-membered body of Christ. That IS the Sons of God. They are joint heirs with Christ. That is The Mystery. That is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. That is the revealing of Jesus Christ in his brethren, as he is the first among many. That is the oneness Christ was talking about in John 17: TO BE EXACTLY LIKE JESUS.

PURE · HOLY · GLORIFIED · HOLY · PERFECTED
IN HIM AND THE FATHER: ONE

John 17:21-26 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Jesus is saying that the world will believe that God sent him when we are one in the Father and in HIM. God is our Father and Jesus is our brother: that makes us Sons of God and joint heirs with Christ. A joint heir means equal heir with Jesus. We are called to that highest calling which is the mystery: I am Alpha and Omega.

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

That is Christ living in you. That is the great mystery. Jesus lives in us through the power of the Holy Ghost. We can and must be joint – or equal – heirs with Christ. That means we receive the same reward: this is complete salvation, not simply saved. We shall, thus, rule this earth as God intended in the first Adam, a living soul; but now a last Adam, Jesus, a quickening spirit. How much greater in Christ: we are a new creation. That was the reason Adam was made in the beginning: to share with the Lord God in fellowship and love and to have dominion over this earth.

This heavenly being, The Alpha and Omega,
tells John to write to the seven churches and tell them;

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

(Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26, & 3:5, 12, 21, & 21:7)

THE MYSTERY
We are the Alpha & Omega

Notice that the Alpha and Omega says, “Will I give, my works, I will confess, will I make, and I will, I will write, will I grant, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” These are all statements that can only be made by God, yet the Alpha and Omega speaks it. We already know from Daniel that this being is what shall happen to his people in the latter days.

This is the great mystery that most of Christendom does not believe. They believe it is blasphemous to let your mind even think this, but even Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with God. He is our example. And once the root of sin is removed, you are on your way to achieving the high calling in Christ Jesus that man was originally made for in the beginning: to have dominion over this world, to rule it in God’s stead, because of Him. God has promised unlimited power to those who qualify and ready themselves in these last days to receive creative power, unlimited discernment, unlimited knowledge, unlimited healing power, to be translated, transported, transcending into the very power and presence of God himself.

I Corinthians 2:6-7 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

This is the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory, Christ in us the hope of glory. The Holy Ghost, by our obedience and the Baptism of his Spirit, makes us into his image – sinless: to be like him; to rule on this earth in his stead. We are to be one with Christ and our Father. The inheritance granted to the Levites is a type and shadow of our inheritance: God was their inheritance. Our inheritance is: God himself.

Deuteronomy 10:9 Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.

The Old Testament is a type and a shadow of the real.

THE MYSTERY IS SOLVED

We have almost completed the closing argument. Just a little bit more and we’ll be ready to take it before the Judge and Jury.

The Mystery:
We, Perfected are the tabernacle of God

Revelation 21:1-3 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

God lives in us. We, pure as the Bride, are the tabernacle of God.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

There is no more death because there is no more sin.
If he lives in you, how can you put out the light?

Revelation 21:5-6 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

The Alpha and Omega is talking to John. We shall be in God’s stead. He wants fellowship. That is why man was created in the first place. It is God’s will that we rule and reign with him and Christ, as one. We are joint heirs with Christ. It’s our inheritance.

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The Alpha and Omega is talking and yet he says I will be his God. We are joint heirs with Christ to inherit all things from our Father. We are in the Godhead to act in the stead of God. We are in his image – which is sinlessness. We will offer the same promise to all those that qualify as we did. That’s the Father’s unselfish love towards us. Christ thought it not robbery to be equal with God. We will act in the capacity of God. The Word says so. That’s the inheritance of the son. That’s where God lives.

Revelation 22:8-9 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Even the Alpha and Omega who is talking to John and who is in the stead of God says, “I am thy fellowservant: worship God.” That’s the same type of statement that Jesus made when he answered, “Why callest thou me good? There is none good but God.”

Revelation 22:10-13 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book. It is time to open this message. It is time to reveal the mysteries to the Church, that all might have the same promise. And we have that same call to fulfill.

This is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This is the revealing of Christ in us to the world.
This is the end of the book.

The two of us remember that day so many years ago: We saw the sun stream across Rose’s face. She opened the Book to Revelation 1:1 and read, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass.” She paused and then closed the Bible. She then spoke, “It’s not the time. I felt the check of the Spirit.”

The pastor that knew the great mystery shut the book. She knew the faithful would stay together and seek the Holy Ghost and find the Truth.

The Mystery is opened. The case is ready. In the summer, we presented our case. The following spring, the verdict was rendered. The Verdict: To be as He is.

The Mystery:
The Sons are the Alpha & Omega with Christ as the head.
