Of My Understanding
Dear Diary:

My Love, Jesus My Love, Jesus, received the power of the Holy Ghost at his baptism, for John saw the Spirit descending upon him in the form of a dove, as the Father had told him. This happens to Jesus only, not us; for Jesus speaks of a new baptism, which takes place in Acts three years later.

By study, I have concluded that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is not the baptism of John in water.

Even after the resurrection when Jesus breathed on them, saying, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost,” this is not the baptism. This is shekinah, or the restoring of the presence of God. What comes at Pentecost is dunamis, or the power of God. The baptism at Pentecost is the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the clear evidence of speaking in tongues.

Because of the Holy Ghost, I say, “Come.”

When I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, I knew I had changed. I had studied first. I needed understanding of who the Holy Ghost is. It is here in the Scriptures, that I came to a greater realization of the Spirit of God: the great Holy Ghost.

How true it is that in Revelation, the Bride and the Spirit say, “Come.”

I am to be that Bride.
