Article 3: Ordination
Whereas Jesus was sent on the earth to overcome all flesh and to present himself a perfect sacrifice. Knowing his purpose and calling, he walked righteously that all men did see; and therefore, many followed;
Whereas Rose, knowing the example made by Jesus Christ, considered the cost and endured all things for the cause of Christ: set forth a living example, first, to people across the nation; then, to a flock brought together by the hand of God: not only preached the things of God, but also – first – walked the walk of Christ, thus, was able to freely give and teach according to God’s word and purpose:
Whereas Jesus said, “As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” (John 10:15-16):
The Church of Jesus Christ Forever,
thus and therefore, states:
Section 1: that Ordination shall be obtained through The Church of Jesus Christ Forever;
Section 2: that applicants must be in compliance with the Constitution and ByLaws of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever;
Section 3: that approval or disapproval shall be acknowledged through the Founder’s Council with the Office of the Reverend General’s final signature of approval or disapproval;
Section 4: that any Ordination, once approved, shall be established for the rest of his/her life, unless he/she determines within themselves to turn aside from their calling; or in the event that they are found in noncompliance with the Constitution and ByLaws of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever, giving the Founder’s Council, with the approval of the Reverend General, full authority to dissolve the ordination in question.
Requirements
A. An individual – being ordained – must and shall, before receiving ordination, be:
1. Called and chosen by God’s will, not by man’s will;
2. Baptized of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with tongues;
3. Found in favor with God through obedience in their daily walk:
4. Proven faithful in prayer and fasting;
5. Obedient in tithing on one’s gross income and faithful in offerings according to the Word of God;
6. Appointed by the Spirit of God;
7. Anointed by the Spirit of God;
8. Rooted and established with a solid foundation of the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ;
9. Thoroughly balanced in the Word of God in love and judgment without respect of persons, but with respect and obedience to the righteousness of God;
10. Self-disciplined in all matters, proven responsible and clean, of which matters include the natural flesh, as well as in the Spirit, in their dedication to maintain the utmost example of Christ in all things:
a) this self-discipline must be, and will be, evident throughout the household (if one exists) through the example set forth by the head of the household, whom God has chosen. Children, if any, cannot be unruly or ungovernable: this would only represent the inability to administer authority, showing inconsistency and compromise. God requires obedience of his own and doesn’t make exception for any. “Obedience is better than sacrifice.” (I Samuel 15:22);
b) this serious matter must be evident for God to grant the authority and privilege of the raising and nurturing of the Children of God: be it in the natural, how much more is required in the raising of the Children of God in the Spirit, his Church, his Bride! God gave Jesus to Mary because he knew that she would raise him to be a proper child;
11. This individual must have a knowledge and understanding of the gifts of God, and must have experienced and partaken in their administration;
12. This individual must realize the responsibility and dedication that he or she is about to partake of: one must count the cost before beginning. Flesh desires and self-will, all, must be under the subjection of the Father’s will at all times. “As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.” (John 10:15); “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)
B. An individual, having received Ordination through The Church of Jesus Christ Forever shall, thus and therefore, walk with Jesus Christ as an example, of whom we do follow: as an example of leadership, shepherdship, righteousness, holiness, humility, servitude and, most of all, the belief in the total word of God: unwaveringly:
1. that he/she will maintain and continue in all aforementioned sections in Article 3;
2. that he/she will be in compliance with the Constitution and ByLaws established by The Church of Jesus Christ Forever;
3. that he/she is an extenuation of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever for the sake of the Ministry of Jesus Christ, and must walk accordingly for the glory of God.
Dissolution
The Church of Jesus Christ Forever,
thus and therefore, states:
That the status of Ordination may be dissolved for the reasons following:
1. that he/she make known their unwillingness to continue to fulfill the calling of God on their lives;
2. that he/she has breached the Constitution and ByLaws of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever.
