Article 2: Government: Certain Head Powers: Regional Authority: Individual Authority
Whereas Jesus is the Son of God, the Prince of the kings of the earth, who hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever, Amen:
Whereas Rose did ascend to, qualify for, and receive of the Melchizedek priesthood; of which priesthood is spoken of in the day of Abraham and fulfilled in Jesus:
Whereas Jesus said, “all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth,” (Matthew 28:18):
The Church of Jesus Christ Forever,
thus and therefore, states:
Section 1: that She is governed by an authority that is appointed by God, and must be recognized in its Authority, Responsibility, and Rewards or Consequences: first and foremost to those governing, then and also to those governed;
Section 2: that She is qualified to set Herself in order administratively;
Section 3: that the placement of Certain Head Powers, as written of in This Virgin Church, the Prophecy of 1619, is appointive and elected by divine order; and ratified by the Founder’s Council;
that a: such offices of Reverend General, Assistant Reverend General, Chronicler, Secretary, and Treasurer are appointive and elected to each for the person’s lifetime, or until a written and signed Statement of Resignation is submitted to the Church and acceptance is forthcoming;
that b: such offices of the Founder’s Council are appointive to each for the person’s lifetime, or until a written and signed Statement of Resignation is submitted to the Church and acceptance is forthcoming;
Section 4: that all matters of authority and administration are subject to the Holy Ghost, God attending to his divine work, as he so desires;
Section 5: that all offices shall be fully exemplary in their lives, both in word and action, to the Gospel of Christ; and that they live without sin, moved upon and led by the Holy Ghost;
Section 6: that the Reverend General is accountable to God in all actions, and must live the Scriptures, faithfully preserving the Message of the Kingdom, the Everlasting Gospel;
Section 7: that the Reverend General cannot, and shall not, use any of the monetary resources provided to The Church of Jesus Christ Forever for his own, excepting A: those pertaining to his well-being in order to fulfill the obligations of his office; and B: transportation and lodging that pertain directly to the responsibilities of his office; and he shall submit an Annual Report of Expenses to appropriate persons or entities;
that a: all Church expenses and missionary expenses are the province of the Church, and are payable by the resources of the Church;
that b: all records must be thorough, complete, and up-to-date;
Section 8: that the Reverend General shall also serve as President of the Corporation, The Church of Jesus Christ Forever Incorporated;
Section 9: that the Order of Succession shall be as follows: A: the Office of Assistant Reverend General; B: the office of the Chronicler; C: a temporary elective by the Holy Ghost to hold an appointive election to know the mind of the Spirit; the temporary elective must be of the Founder’s Council, or of their immediate families:
THAT IT BE KNOWN: THAT THESE CERTAIN HEAD POWERS, MEN AND WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN FAVOR WITH GOD, MUST PERFORM, BY THEIR RIGHTFUL AUTHORITY AND ADMINISTRATION; THE WORKS OF GOD, SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT FAULT BEFORE ALL MANKIND, AND THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE BEFORE GOD FOR THE FURTHERANCE OF THE KINGDOM TO THOSE UNIVERSALLY, TO THOSE OF LIKE FAITH REGIONALLY, AND TO THOSE INDIVIDUALLY:
AS SO FOLLOWS:
As it is the purpose of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever to bring about a Perfect Church in and as the Body of Christ, there must be an authority that is Regional and Individual, such as is noted in Moses’ writings, the Prophets, and in Jesus’ ministry and the Book of Acts:
Thus, out of the Founder’s Council must proceed the Promulgation of the Everlasting Gospel by the disbursement of its members to regions foreordained by God:
Section 10: that Regional shall refer to a geographical area that shall be coordinated by the Office of the Reverend General; but, because it is the Body of Christ, shall not be solely limited to geographical area, taking into account the diversity of the Spirit as he chooses to place Authority and churches together as he sees fit;
Section 11: that those of the Founder’s Council, having been established in a local, shall be responsible for the development and perfection of the churches that God raises up by their ministry and shepherdhood;
Section 12: that those Churches, so named and included in The Church of Jesus Christ Forever, and so qualified shall have governing power to bless, administrate, and accept tithes as God so determines;
Section 13: that those Churches, so governing, shall have all rights and privileges of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever.
Thus, of these Churches, there shall be Individuals placed in the Body of Christ, who – though members of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever, shall remain affiliated with a Church, but must be faithful to go wherever the Holy Ghost sends them. These Individuals are ordained to the Everlasting Gospel, but must be accountable to The Office of the Reverend General or the immediate Founding Member in his local, until such time as God fully writes his laws in their mind and heart. Thus,
Section 14: that those Individuals be willing to submit themselves to a Regional Church;
Section 15: that those Individuals coordinate their activities with the Office of the Reverend General, or a designated Representative;
Section 16: that those Individuals unwilling to submit themselves to a Regional Church; or do not coordinate their activities with the Office of the Reverend General, or a designated Representative, shall not hold the status of Ordination or Affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ Forever;
Section 17: that the Reverend General and the Founder’s Council hold the sole right of the establishment of The Constitution and ByLaws of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever.
Thus, the governing authority of The Church of Jesus Christ Forever are those responsible to God who are tried and perfected, and who are granted authority to act in the name of Jesus; and accountable to Jesus Christ and the Father according to the dictates of the Spirit and the lawful authority of the Church and Her authorities as given to Her by Christ.
